How high is one metre?!?! Higher than an average 3 year old?

Going to theme park where if child under 1 metre they ride free...

A little over 3 ft. Unfortunately, my two-year-old is past that.

My dd was 1m exactly when she turned 3 and she was quite a bit above average (just looked in her red book)

My DD's 2y9m 25th centile for height and she's only 90cm.

DD2 is 98cm and has just turned 4. She is on 50th centile if that's any help .

ds 2.3 is 3ft & 1in

but sometimes you find the things they measure them with are wrong - DS1 got onto 3 rides in one place we went to, but not onto another 2 - yet they were all had the same height restriction !

DD is 3y11m (4 on 5 April) and she is 103cm. Measured her this week!

dd is four in May and is 107cm.

taller than average, I think. under 1m prob a 2.5 yo..?

DS is 3.4 and is 93cm. He is short though - age 2-3 trousers are way too long for him but we need to buy 3-4 for his tummy!

DS2 is 2.7 and he is 88cm. I think he's pretty average

ds was 103cm on his third birthday - he is a giraffe though...

Just looked at growth chart things from red book. I only have the girl's charts though. At 103cm (when barefoot) at 3y11m DD is just under the 75th centile.

According the the girl's chart:

25th centile = 100cm at 4y2m
50th centile = 100cm at 3y9m
75th centile = 100cm at 3y5m

I'd say anywhere between about 3 and 4 1/2 (dd is the latter, tiny in her class and about a metre). However you may find that not many rides are available to under 1 m anyway. There is normally a measure at the start of each queue or staff checking.

ds is nearly 4 and 103cms. agree with lizs though, there won't be a lot for under 1m.
