Hi I just wondered if there is any one else out there who is sick of being sent junk mail as part of the home school communication system. We are only the second week in to the new school year and my child has brought home with the ususal school info an advert for Sainsbury's, a local take away and several other advers/free offer junk mail items. SO now I have to jy of chucking the lot in the recycling. Not only is my child being used as an advertising machine (for free!) but some one in the school has had to spend precious time sorting and puting these adverts in the envolopes to come home...time better sepnt on my childs education I sugest! Any thoughts???

Yes, it's crap.

We don't get much, because the school says it pre-screens rigorously. But companies pay to have info distributed like this, and I can see why that is tempting.

I think all junk mail is a waste of paper/trees, but don't see shoving a few bits from the school straight into the recycling as particularly onerous.
