What can we do today?

Any ideas?
Ds2 is isn't too well with an ear infection so can't do anything that involves being out in the cold,anything that costs TOO much money,but is fun for my very healthy and energetic 6 year old.Soft play would be too busy and noisy for ds2 i think( and dh and i hate it!)
we live in the manchester/cheshire area?

Dancing, with a dance mat

waterfalls, i'm such a bad mummy-i just can't face going downthe'making things'route.
really can't. they start off all enthusiastic for the first ten minutes and then wander off and i'm left with all the stuff everywhere.
don't have a dance mat.

OK, Take the mattresses off their beds, build a tent over it, give them a pack of crisps and leave them to it, worry about putting it all away later
