We're moving to Andover with a 3 year old ds1 and a new born ds2. We don't know the area at all. Please can anyone recommend:
1, good areas to live for schools etc (in and around Andover);
2, any nice nurseries for ds1;
3, good thinks to entertain dss locally;

Feeling slightly stressed Sad about the move so please tell me any other good things about the area! TIA

if you are re-locating you need to do what phil and kirsty do. get a map of the area, sick a pin in andover if that is where the job is, if you're not sure about living in andover itself, decide how far your dh would be prepared to commute, say half an hours drive, and draw a circle. this will encompass surrounding villages and give you a wider area to explore. then go and spend the day driving around the area and see where you like. check on rightmove before you go to get an idea of house prices within the circle on the map.

thats what we did, dh is now working in loughborough, we live in lancashire. he was prepared to commute 45mins drive, in the end we've chosen oakham near rutland water. we can just about afford a 4 bed house there and there are 3 good primary schools. good luck!.

Space has allowed the fitting of a hydrotherapy bath without compromising the proportions and feel of the bathroom. This bath is new, computer controlled with radio and under water lighting.
