Crying in pushchair

Does anyone else have trouble with their baby or toddler crying if he/she is in the puschair for more than about half an hour. My dd who has just turned one seems incapable of sitting still without whingeing for even 30 minutes - therefore even simple trips become stressful. Have tried giving her various snacks and toys to play with but nothing seems to work. She has been like this for the past 6 months but I thought it would improve - it hasn't! Any tips would be very much appreciated.

do you have a pushchair that can face you? ds is so much better if he can see me and we can have a chat.

a pushchair with the straps anchored from the sides worked for me as he has freedom and doesn't feel restricted but is still safely strapped in.
All M&P's have this feature I believe. My Freestyler did- you can get these off ebay for about £30-£40 used. Also Pliko's.
He can lean right forward and thinks he is ever so clever. I don't think he realises he is strapped in- Bless!!

maybe that's long enough, i remember my dd and ds were both desperate to get out and explore the world (ideally with someone holding both thei hands while they walked round and round).
can you change your routine to let her have a little toddle about and explore before she has to get back in?
