Morning,

I want to send an email to the the CEO (Roger Lynch), or other top bod of a company called Video Network Limited (the people behind Homechoice) I can't find a 'personal' email address anywhere, but I vaguely remember someone on here posting about a site, or a way of getting hold of this sort of information? I just need to get the attention of someone higher up than the call center people I'm currently getting very frustrated with (they've all been trying hard, and very friendly but so far essentially useless)

Thanks!

Anyone please?

I've just had to send my lovingly crafted stroppy yet not rude email to one of those general email addresses, and I know it's just going to get ignored!

I've done this.
Just ask th people.or ask for their line manager's name and so and so on.
Had magnificent result after Lufthansa lost my luggage and baby carseat in this way.

Have you tried directory enquiries or a website??

See if you can find the e mail addresses of any other members of staff, and then the same protocol will apply. Or just keep trying different versions of their generic 'info@' - InitialSurname@ or FirstNameSurname@.

it might be [email protected] if blu is right.

Kelly1978 · 14/03/2006 11:11

i've found [email protected] on google

Kelly1978 · 14/03/2006 11:13

it is r.lynch. Grin

look at the pdf \link{[email protected]\here}, do ctrl + F to search for lynch and you will see it. It about the third lynch on there.

Is there anything mumsnet doesn't know? Grin

serenity · 14/03/2006 11:34

thanks everyone!

I did try googling, but one of the side effects I'm getting from whatever is going wrong at the moment is losing my broadband at odd moments and today is being 'one of those days'.
I'll send a copy to Lynch and see what happens.....

RTL - no Grin Afetr struggling to find something with my net going down every few minutes I knew it would be simpler just to ask here.

Actually.......can anyone come and fix my Homechoice thingy so I can watch CSI tonight? No one at Homechoice can figure out why it keeps going down (just before the things I want to watch!) but MN probably does.

just read your thread and have emailed a top 'knob' at McAfee - seems to have worked, ie my email hasn't been returned - yet! Grin

so thanks very much - I have a major beef with McAfee

Kelly1978 · 14/03/2006 11:43

I would, but I don't live in croydon ne more.... Grin

JoolsToo · 16/03/2006 21:34

REEEEEEEEEEEEEE-SULT!!!!!

I guessed at the Senior Vice President of Customer Services for McAfee - emailed him in the US of A and he's passed my email on to someone else - let's have it right, he wasn't going to be dealing with it was he? Grin

So chuffed I've finally got a bit of action.

serenity · 17/03/2006 09:31

Yep. great isn't it. We still haven't resolved our problem (tbh I don't think it can be) but we're now dealing solely with the CEO's EA rather than the call center people (who have all been nice, but limited in what they can do)

Hope you get things sorted JoolsToo Smile
