I bought the whole first series of Little House on the Prairie from Amazon!

How I loved that programme! Just watched the first one, and it is fabulous!

Pa is just so manly and Ma, well wouldn't any mother want to be like her, sigh:)

my mum used to put my hair in plaits and at the end I used to run up and down the lounge pretending I was running on the prairie - and I'd always fall over laughing like the little girl (can't remember her name) - boy what a saddo!

I used to watch 'Heidi' over and over again, the original one with Shirley Temples.

Melissa Gilbert (Laura) was on a C5 film last week, & she STILL has v.long Auburn hair, but no freckles! I used to want to be Laura, & still have all the books.

Hee hee! I think Gil is a bit of all right too (if he'd stayed ever young of course)!

Just watched another one - it's a bit racy - never noticed that as a child. All those kisses and clinches and knowing looks just as the oil lamp gets turned offWink

God knows how Pa had the energy for that after a 15 hour day spent chopping wood, mending roofs, ploughing the field on top of a days workGrin
