dd, 4 1/2 , was suspiciously quiet having spent the afternoon happily sticking a variety of things onto a picture - cut-out shapes, shiny bits and sequins, paper etc - and wanting to finish it after dinner. Go looking for her and discover her in the downstairs loo, sitting on the floor surrounded by sequins, loo brush upended, looking guilty. She has given herself a tattoo of a little girl on her hand with a fine pointed graphics pen and, in a fit of conscience, was trying to scrub it off - with the toilet brush , bleugh...
Cue much yelling (me and dh), crying (her) and a dash for a hot bath. Still can't remove the ink completely from her hand but at least she's clean ! Don't think she'll do that again in a hurry.
