Late oct parents celebrate Golden Wedding. Father is not up to huge party so we decided something just with immediate family. Due to location we decided probably London and the home counties the best idea. We thought nice river cruise with lunch and then the London eye but its not advised for under 5s and we have one of them who is generally good but can be terrible , so binned that. We thought spa hotel in a country estate but we diddn't want rabbit food or Michelin star prices.
Possibly tea at the Ritz but they did it a few years ago!
We tried to book Spirit of Chartwell but of course its all booked up - even just for the 2 of them and then maybe we would have a meal.
A show is not an ideal thing as we want to ' participate as a family'. We have dds from 19 - 3 and we are starting to run out of ideas- Help?
