Unless you have looked them up prior to the visit, ask about the Ofsted report

How many per classroom
Discipline?

What do you want from a primary school?

I wanted small classes, encouragement for brighter students, use of computers, community feel, focus on sports etc etc

Not everyone expects the same from the school

ask what their staff turnover is - if it's low then there's good management - high may mean there's a problem.

behaviour / discipline policies

read their ofsted report
