for the last hour or so, i have been getting funny texts from a guy who knows my name and what colour hair I have. He left a message on my answerphone too.

I've kept all the texts and my replies as first thought it was a mate winding me up. DH is now trying to ring him back.

I NEVER give my mobile no out so not happy at present.

if it carries on ring the police.weve been getting funny phone calls,and theyve been great in tracing them.scares the person off aswell when they get a police man on their doorstep!

Get your DH to call him from a number NOT yours. But make sure he does number witheld.
And tell him that if he does it again, he will take your mobile to the police where they can easily trace the number. (not 100% sure whether this is true - probably is!)

DH has rung from his mobile and left a message as the guy never answers, it's freaked me out the way he knows my hair colour.

Might change my sim card and get a new number.

Go straight to the police. I was getting things like this from someone who had texted a random number. Freaked me out

why don't you get your dh to ring him back from your mobile when he gets in. As he knows your number anyway, don't withhold the number - he might think his luck is in then your DH can warn him off.

whoever it is WANTS a reaction from you... thats why they are doing it.

or you could just publish his number on here and we'll all start sending it harrassing texts, lol.

I've had no more texts since dh left a message with him, it's just freaked me out him knowing my name and the colour of my hair. Hopefully I'll have no more texts or anything from him now.
