Marshmallows and straws game - is it good?

Planning party games for 6 yo boy

Ok - have I got this right? You have a plate of marshmallows and try to pick them up by sucking on a straw?

Has anyone done this? Does it work? Or does it end in tears of frustration?

it works .. altho did it with maltesers

Maltesers might be less sicky. So they suck the straw and pick up the sweet?

yes, suck through the straw to pick up a malteser (we tried feeding partner with the maltesers, but will boys do that? can transfer from one bowl to another).. btw straws were cut to length of a cigerette!

Sorting a pile of M&M's into separate colours with a straw is also great fun. You can also do it with a teaspoon in the mouth!
