I can't believe it!
Not doing it has worked, for the first time ever.
I am faint with shock and can't write any more.

An update:
After turning pale when he saw the length of the list, he did 5, then got tired and watched telly instead.

Let's see what tonight brings.

God, they're all the same are they? I do all dh's family, I buy my own presents (to make sure I get something), buy everything for ds. My dh is crap.

HogmanayJan · 16/12/2003 16:46

I have to buy all the cards and pressies for DP's famly. HE buys minme and something for DD. I usually have to remember all the birthdays for both familes as well, but this year he reminded me about his sisters birthday. He told me on friday night and her birthday was the sunday, if he had called me uin the morning when he 1st thought about it I could have got a card and pressie when I was out, we had to go into town on the saturday morning get a crd and post it before 12 to make sure she got it on the monday.

winnie1 · 16/12/2003 16:46

Have to say dh buys and writes all cards to his friends and family which is great but does seem to be unusual.

ghengis · 16/12/2003 16:51

My DH got his PA to buy a secret santa present, I wrapped it and wrote the gift tag. Naturally he took all the praise!

TinselDragon · 16/12/2003 16:51

I make DH write all the cards to his friends & family. I present him with a sheet of labels with the addresses printed on and let him get on with it. It's an opportunity for him to sigh heavily every 5 minutes and generally act like a martyr

Better news tonight. He's been at it for a couple of hours now and has broken it's back.
I'm back to gasping with amazement.

Do you think that if I look longingly at the ironing pile ...............no, I'm just dreaming now.
