Help! anyone elses computer doing/ever done this...

Here's a weird one. My internet connections gone very strange indeed - I can get on to some sites Mumsnet, Lycos but cant access others Google, ebay, bbc .. what's going on? Have I got some sort of Virus?

Mine is doing it just now too, I think there is a problem with some of the sites rather than a virus, although that is what I thought I had at first too.

it could be a partial network outage. they'll probably be back up soon.

phew thought it was just me too! I can get half an ebay page but no further and can't get google either - v strange!!!

No ebay! AAARgh!

Bet I'll be on Mumsnet all night now - DH has bagsied the TV for football so I was planning a night of ebooting .

got my ebay back but its so tempermental I've had to give up again. GRRRRRRRR! is this till happening to anyone else. Maybe its a local thing. I'm on ntl in Brighton.

I had trouble getting into ebay earlier, then went to bid on something and it wouldn't let me. I missed out on a lovely Quicksilver top for dd that went for £1.70! Still, I'm telling myself it's karma and it would have looked awful on her.

still not working - nothing on the ntlworld site though - cant believe this can be anything other than regional - surely no bbc no google no msn and no ebay must be the internet equivalent of a power cut? Cant believe they're not hundreds of us screaming at our screens!
