What are you lot like, after reading all this I decided that I couldn't afford to wait till the 23rd ( indicated date of arrival) for my order to arrive and so bought it all in Virgin Records yesterday.

Some creepy lad with face fungus and a ponytail, sidled up and said, Hey love, can I take your list and get it all for you, he did in under 5 mnutes - worth the £10 extra over Amazon.

Came home and decided to cancel said Amazon order, the damn thing had been dispatched 24 hours after ordering!! In a right dilemna now, as either have to return Virgin shopping or return Amazon order!

Dp oreder a gamecube game from an asian website to be delivered by UPS from Hong Kong.
The UPs tracking report showing it as being pcked up at 7.24pm on Monday, arrivingt at Derby at 2.53am today out for delivery at 6.56am butg nothing has turned up(no parcel or card through the door saying that we missed them.

The next entry is at 6.57pm Not Listed on Building Directory. We don't know where they have tried to delivery it but our house is listed otherwise how do we get any post at all.
DP tried calling them but that involves stating your tracking nukmmber. It says that his is not recognised. He finally found an email address and has sent a rather snotty email to them. He icluded our correct address as well.

Heres hoping it turns up tomorrow.

am soooooooo cross with Amazon.... Ordered a camcorder on Dec. 1st - due to arrive ages ago, and I've e-mailed and they've kept saying it's being dispatched. Just checked my order this morning and it's now not due to arrive until Jan 2nd.... So, have cancelled the order and dp is now saying let's not bother buying one. It was a bit of an impulse buy that I only just got away with, and now we're not getting one because dp's also reminded me we could spend the money better getting the car serviced (grrrrr)

Anyway, just needed to have a grumble. Really wanted to capture ds - now 2 - on film this Christmas - feeling very sorry for myself!

I got a call this moring from UPS (10.30am), when I sais DP wasn't home he said that he must have a good sene of humour to send the email that he did. He also apologised for parcel not being delivered yesterday. As they have been busy they used some subcontractors who did not do a proper job. He asaid that the parcel should be with us within an hour.
It arrived at 11.25am
Just goes to prove that sending snotty correspondence does work
