First sun holiday with two boys - what do we need?

Hi,

We have two DS (age 1 and 2) and are heading to my IL's place in Croatia for a couple of weeks at the end of August.

This is our first time flying with the boys let alone going on a beach holiday and I have no idea what to take.

I know I can get all the nappies/toiletries etc out there so I'm not worried about that, but wonder what is invaluable otherwise? I was thinking about towelling beach cover ups/hats etc.

Any advice really gratefully received!! Thanks.

I find those all-in-one UV suits are excellent for hot holidays; I got 2 for my DS and when we went abroad in May he wore one every day, even if he wasn't swimming. They kept him cool, sun protected and are easy to handwash and dry.

I always take snacks for DS with me too, in case it's hard to find things in the resort. Things like organix cereal bars, packs of raisins, breadsticks etc. Then I always have a snack to hand if he's hungry when we're out and about, or if we're going out for a late dinner.
