I haven't but my little sis has. Why do you want to know?

I haven't worked for an MP but worked in the Commons Library. There aren't many around in the summer, just the ones who work hard tbh. From what I remember there were members researchers and staff around, but maybe only frontbench members so opportunities may be limited. Worth a shot though.

dd1 wrote to our MP asking for work experience and he has just written back saying he was impressed by her cv (proud emoticon)and when will she be avaialble after easter and what would she like to work on, she is in madrid at the moment and I wondered if they still needed people in the summer recess time..she won't be back until then she is at Madrid uni and doing work experience with atletico currently

and is it interesting working with an mp? Do you get any living expenses, as we don't live near london?

I have just spoken to my sis and she says there won't be work in Westminster during the summer as they are on recess but there will be work in the constituencies. She recommends that you contact your local MP or MPs and ask if they'll be able to offer any work experience over the summer. Sis has done this 3 summers running while at uni in Liverpool- she says if you are Liverpool based she can help you out with the MP she worked for up there.

so he probably means working in the constituency then that would be fine, thank you
