O.U time again.

This Feb is the start date for DD100, my second attempt! Last year I got two thirds of the way through before I gave up to enjoy my pregnancy and to avoid all stress.
Now I have a 3 year old and a 3 month old and I'm becoming quite concerned that I'm going to quit again.
I find the work enjoyable but the stress of the monthly essays becomes too much, especially with very little quiet time to complete them.
Do any other O.Uers manage with kid/s and studies and how do you do it?

I am also starting DD100 in Feb, not sure if this is my brightest idea as my first is due in May! I signed up a year ago and couldn't bring myself to cancel.

My theory is that I shall try to do as much as I can before the baby arrives, hmm . . .

At least it will be all mine!

Hi Bekki & Libb - I'm also an OU student. I studied S103 this year (currently waiting for the result). Next year I'm doing ST240 (30 points) as well as two summer schools. I also have a DS of 7½ and DD of 2 (just) - I have to admit that this year was hard work, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I did try the year before, but my DD was only tiny and I found it much too hard. However, I do know that others seem to manage - maybe they're better organised than me (or better disciplined) Seriously, if you think you can manage - go for it. I'm also lucky in that my local gym has a good creche where my dd can stay for 2 hours while I sit upstairs in the bar - studying!! Very good arrangement for us both.

Good luck to you both.

I think I'll just try my best and if it gets too stressful then I'll just quit and wait till kids are older.
Books are here! I think I'll try and get a head start. How hard can it be I've already done this once?!
