a friend of mine says her niece is starting school in september.
she will be 4 THIS september.

shouldn't she actually start next september, when she is 5?

yes lockets, mad isn't it? I was told by the school secretary when I put dd1's name down - I am in Oxon - that this will start from next year. I got extremely humpty with her about it.
"I hope it's mainly play huff huff..."
because of course she IS reponsible for the content of the curriculum...
she was quite pleased when I left, I think
