Blush - went out on the town last night with a friend from work. Had Sambuca (sp) for the first time, and found out that while I LOVED it, it didn't love me and I threw up...........all over my brand new (Size 8 Grin) Jeans and brand new Black Suede like (don't think are actually Suede as I don't think they were expensive enough to be) boots. Of course it dried on, and I don't know how to get it off............

preserve the boots in a prominent place in your home and let that be a lesson and a constant reminder of the error of your ways, young lady

Well, DH threw up last weekend, after my birthday party, and he used babywipe to try and cover up his mess!!!

nooooooooooo - I can't afford to - I needed another pair of shoes/boots (only have a flat black pair I wear for work, pair of slippers and cheapy trainers) and I've only worn them once.

Really hacked off actually, as I was drinking WDK Blue, and can drink gallons of that stuff usually, but the Sambucca stuffed that up.

you could try a suede cleaner and suede brush to remove it, but you'd need to be really carefull about damaging the suede.

Even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you.........size 8 Envy

Socci · 05/03/2006 13:59

oh noooooooo suede is not salvagable from any "attacks" you just have to write them off.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 05/03/2006 23:18

but I don't think it is actually Suede - they were £12.50 (half price) in Matalan........me thinks a bit cheapy for proper Suede.

I really can't afford to chuck them out. I need another pair of 'smart' shoes, my work ones are getting knackered now as I'm wearing them out and about so much [frown]

LGJ - they're stretch jeans - probably still a 10 in 'normal' ones. But I've never been a size 8 before - even when I was a skinny 7 stone 18yr old - I was always a 10-12.

Well, if you cant wear them due to vomit covering, you have nothing to lose by giving them a rinse under the tap with a bit of vanish/detergent and shoving rolled up newspaper in the toes to hold the shape.

Had to rinse DD's suede(ette) boots the other day because she weed in them. They have gone hard but they are still wearable.

They're probably "nukbuck" you can get a special rubber to clean suede/nukbuck it works a treat.
