We have just brought a new house and it has electric storage heaters through out that are a very shitty brown.

Does any know if they can be painted with heat resitant paint???

and if they do know has anyone tried it.

Or if the paint option is a no go can i put the wooden radiator covers over them???

many thanks in advance for advise given

I'm sure I've seen them use radiator covers on one of those home improvement programmes.

They can be taken apart so that you can spray them safely, remember to use heat resistant spray and have each piece flat (so that there are no drops). They do special radiator paint and I'd use that. Stay outside as these paints are very whiffy

thanks all -

having been to several diy shops they all gave me the same answer

sand them down and just gloss how easy is that

Fairydust - do you use normal gloss or special extra heat proof stuff?
