what does 'CAT me' mean?

i've seen people talking about how you can 'cat' someone, what does it mean?

Cat is Contact Another Talker - see the panel at the top of the page. You use it to send a private message via MN to another poster.

Contact another talker - is in useful stuff section.

You have to pay £5 a year to use the facility though.
