I'm a regular/oldie on mn, and recently changed names for various reasons: (new name is not this one - I'm enjoying anonymity).

Afaik no-one "knows" who I am, but everyone still talks to me.

I kill no more threads than I always have.
No-one has been either any nicer or more rude and abrupt than they have always been to me.

you wouldnt know me even if i told you my usual name, im that ignored none of you even know me.

You could all register with a name and number, so first person to do it is A1 followeed by B2 and so on. That way we won't have clues from your names who you are.
