In Expats own words last night

"Keep it coming, folks. She NEEDS this miracle*.

There is indeed power in our prayers and hopes and love.....and especially the amount of us lighting candles and taking time to just think about them. On my own part, pretty much everyone I know knows about our prayers for Aillidh....so many people thinking of her.

I pray today for continued strength for Expat, continued love for Aillidh, and continued hugs for Giraffes, who is there with them walking this tightrope and being a true angel.

My thoughts continue to be with Aillidh and her family. Also wishing to spare a thought for all the doctors and nurses caring for Aillidh and other sick children up and down the country. I know they are working hard to give Aillidh every chance and to keep her as comfortable and painfree as possible.

RabidAnchovy · 07/07/2012 17:24

((((hugs)))) MrsD

I think ExPat will know that letting go is not giving up and I don't think anyone will see it as giving up, if the time comes to let Aillidh go.

Heart breaking thing for any parent to go through and my heart goes out to all that have and to ExPat

Praying hard for Aillidh and all her family. Praying that God guides Expat, her DH, and all the medical staff in making their decisions.

I may be alone but i feel encouraged by the last update. if the lead consultant thinks they should 'carry on' then there must be something they see that makes this an option. I'm sure that if they felt differently, then they would have been straight about it. Thay are there looking after Aillidh and she is their priority. Expat and Mr expat have decided to leave it in God's hands so I will continue to pray and hope and send lots of positive thoughts to Aillidh. She is strong and a true fighter. I am completely in awe of her and her family and friends. As northern said, we need to believe and not be doubtful of whichever God or divine spirit you believe in. This little girl and her family, firends, girrafes and psychomum remain in my thoughts and prayers and have a place in my heart forever, no matter what happens. xxx

From FB-

Her CRP is the lowest it's ever been.

Is this a good sign? A quick google suggests it is, but I have no idea!

Praying for the best for Aillidh x

Her CRP is the lowest it's ever been.

The one day my I go out and lose signal and then battery dies and such a rollercoaster happens. I so feel for Expat...her heart must be shredded.

This latest update tho, seems positive. We must keep hoping and praying and sending love for that miracle.

Oh Mrs devereSad
We were told we had to think about withdrawing treatment for our dd...she was being ventilated. As it transpired she made the decision(or it was made for us)and she did pass away.We were not there.
I think whatever Expat wants/thinks we are right with her.It is so terribly sad.

QuickLookBusy · 07/07/2012 18:14
