now dd1 has as well. i wonder if it has anything to do with a little boy being sick at soft play on saturday?

Poor DDs (and poor you). I think it could well be connected with the little boy.

Hope there isn't too much sickness and that DD3 doesn't get it as well.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 01/03/2006 17:01

Most likely - poor you and DD's Sad

There really is alot of it about. DS has had it twice in 3 weeks and myself and DP had it once. DD seems to have escaped it so far......

Does this mean you can go to harefield?

misdee · 01/03/2006 17:02

its dd1 birthday party on saturday as well. hope they get better quickly. they are both curled up with the sick bucket between them, watching dora now.

OP posts:
misdee · 01/03/2006 17:03

sparklymieow · 01/03/2006 17:25

dd2 is still ill, high temp, cough and cold, none of us being sick atm.

misdee · 01/03/2006 18:32

they havent stopped. my washing is building up too quckly. have called docs as dd2 is now dry heaving and dd1 is throwing up yellow fluid. they cant even keep a sip of water down.

OP posts:
chipmonkey · 01/03/2006 19:25

Poor pets! Its that horrible bug thats going round, misdee.Sad

misdee · 01/03/2006 19:27

both have been vomiting since the 1st post. gp says may have to admit them if they dont keep any fluid down before 8.30

OP posts:
chipmonkey · 01/03/2006 19:34

ds3 had this last week, our GP said if he could just keep sips of fluid down, that would be enough. How old are they, misdee?

misdee · 01/03/2006 19:36

they arent keeping sips down, not even 1fl oz. Sad

OP posts:
LIZS · 01/03/2006 19:39

Sad misdee. could it be something they've both eaten ?

misdee · 01/03/2006 21:13

been to the clinic. its a bug going round. have been shown how to check for signs of dehydration, and can go back at anytime.

both are fast asleep now.

OP posts:

Hope they are feeling better soon.

misdee · 01/03/2006 22:09

OP posts:
blueteddy · 01/03/2006 22:16

Oh no! Has your Mum visited today?
My Ds's had it before Christmas & my Mum came down with it 4 hours after visiting our house!
I was the only family member that escaped it, but did feel sick for a few days, as I had been so surrounded by vomit.
Hope you don't come down with it - you have enough to cope with right now.

misdee · 01/03/2006 22:20

my mum came to londo nwith me this morning with dd1+3 before all this vomiting started.

OP posts:
blueteddy · 01/03/2006 22:23

Fingers crossed that you don't come down with it.
How are your DD's now?

misdee · 01/03/2006 22:27

dd2 is sound asleep, dd1 has been sick twice in her bedroom (but not got the bed)

OP posts:
blueteddy · 01/03/2006 22:31

Oh, it's horrible when they are poorly isn't it?Sad
Hope they (and you) have a restful night & are feeling better in the morning.
