Would it be really terrible to keep DS1 home from nursery today......

Because I am sick?

Have been poorly for a couple of weeks now and have had very kind people taking ds1 to and from school for me. But today my mom is a work and mil has gone away I think (well I cant get hold of her anyhow) and I just feel soooo sick everytime I move that I really dont think I can face going out. DH is at work all day so cant take him. Would it be really bad to let him stay at home. I hate being sick!!! But it will have worn off enough for me to pick him up i think. Just dont fancy being sick on the bus!!

Can you cope with him at home with you? I remember struggling to get dd to nursery one day cos I felt so ill but I was determined I needed to rest all day . I got a friend to pick her up- do you have anyone similar?

Mil has turned up!!!

For all the moaning I do about that woman, she got my message and cleared her scedual for today (She has meetings and stuff) I am totally shocked.

But I am just going to be posting the same thing tomorrow. I am so fed up of feeling sick. I swing between feeling ok and feeling so totally ill.

Its a reaction to some anti-biotics and other meds im taking at the moment. The make me feel so sick for a few hours after I take them. But if i dont take them I will feel ill - I cant win!

Sorry you are feeling rough , but it sounds as if it has gone too long what does gp say. Can you retime taking the medication so that you do it after the morning school run or ask gp fro anti sickness pills ?
