how much are you spending

For my mum's 60th I trawled through all my recipe books and chose 60 recipes, divided them into starters/fish/veggie/meat/mains/side dishes/pudding, scanned them all onto my PC, added photos of me, dp and the children cooking, added comments on each recipe and bound it. She appeared underwhelmed I have to say, for the amount of effort that went in but hey, I still thought it was a good idea!

For my Mum's we organised a session at a studio photographers for all the family - from my 90 yr old Grandada to my 6mth DS. She loved it, and now has the photos as a reminder. We also went to see Jools Holland in concert which was brilliant. It cost £199 for the hour in the studio, 6 prints, the CD of all 60 photos he took. There was a more expensive package as well.
