HELP ! Sky not working ....

Any ideas.
TV OK - but when we try and switch to SKY - nothing happens.
Remote does have batteries in
DH is not here!

Happened to me once. I had to pull the plug, wait a few minutes and plug it back in. That's what they advised me to do when I phoned and it worked. Good luck

Literally nothing? Trying to remember what was shown when ours wasn't working - anyway do what magnum says but wait a minute (ie 60secs +) before you switch it on again. (Oh, and check your connections at the back of the TV or vid or whatever your Sky cable is plugged into.)

Oh - and are you sure the batts in the remote are OK? Try pressing the buttons on the Sky set-top box too.

Are there lights on the Sky box showing that power is getting to it, crystaltips? Sorry, that's probably over obvious, but I'm crap at realising fuses in plugs have blown and always forget to check that first...

If none of that works then you need to ring them I think, crystaltips - have you got a phone no?

Just remembered, there'll be one on the viewer card - and your id number too I think.

Be prepared to hold on for bleeding hours though!
