Not really the right board, but I have to tell you this. We just had our NCT Christmas party this afternoon in Cuffley, Herts. Coming out of the nail salon (tee hee!) next door was only David Beckham. He gave us his autograph and we auctioned it for £25.00!

Ooh Rhiannon - he's on the Sports Personality of the Year programme now - do you think he is expecting that he will get his hands on a trophy then? His well manicured hands would definitely be on show.

What! - only 25 quid for the captain of the England football team ??????

Who's seen the advert on the telly for a well know soft drink?

After watching it I asked my 7½ yr old daughter if we should leave a glass of that particular beverage out for santa on christmas eve as he obviously likes it, she said NO we have to leave him some milk, when I asked why, she said that it wasn't real, I then asked if Santa drinking XXXX wasn't real then Santa can't be real. She's certain that he is real and she believes in him and that he will be delivering her pressies. She knows that we buy them, but santa has to deliver them! Buy the way, Rudolph gets nothing!

Sorry if that was long winded, or, that it probably doesn't make sense, but that's the sort of conversation we have in our house.

Is'nt it just great that it's less than fornight till xmas. I must be one of the mad mothers who are more excited than the kids, the more hyper i can get them about it the better.I just attended my three year old sons first nursery xmas concert today then came home and wrapped the remaining handful of presents for"santa".Now all i have to do is pick up my bird and we're set.11 days to go,I CAN'T WAIT!!

Am I ready? Am I xxxx.

SueDonim · 13/12/2001 23:21

I'd be more ready than I am if only I didn't keep getting cards from unexpected sources! Very annoying to have to find addresses and buy more cards, stamps etc!

Joe1 · 14/12/2001 12:19

Me neither Willow2

Can we put Christmas off to mid-January, Please!

KatyW · 14/12/2001 16:54

Does anyone know of a baby friendly Christmas carol concert/service in London. My 13 mth ds loves music, and I'd really like to take him to hear some carols, but would have to be during the day or in the early evening. West or Central London if possible.

Willow2 · 15/12/2001 11:05

KatyW - how west? We're in SW14 and I was just thinking how nice it would be to take dear son to similar. Will have a nose around and see if I can find anything. Let me know if you have any luck.

Rhiannon · 15/12/2001 18:21

Nearly ready, it would be handy if I could find my address book though! R.
