DH and I off out tonight for nice meal and few drinks with in-laws mine..not his and some other family members. We don't do much these days as 2 kids&huge mortgage=no cash!
I should be looking forward to going out but just can't be bothered. We're meeting early 18:30 and I've got to go get ready, get kids all organised, drive them across town to my parents once they get in from work, drive back to drop car off as need it to get kids in the morning as dh is working and then bus it back over to town to meet! Not sure...aibu?

You are contrary! i didn't even know the section "other subjects" even existed! Couldn't you decide where to put it?

It'll probably turn out to be one of those really enjoyable evenings. Usually is when you're not looking forward to it. Focus on relaxing, having a nice meal and not running upstairs every 5 mins
