I don't mind it too much now, but when I was growing up I wasn't keen. Never met another Sian until I started 6th Form. I'm not Welsh my mum just liked it, do get asked all the time if I'm welsh tho! But have a Romanian surname which then confuses peopl too!

mythumbelinas · 25/02/2006 23:57

nite lanismum
wonderwoman, there's the weather girl called sian!!

i'd better go too .. i'm not broadband why i'm not normally on!!!!!

have a nice night gals

expatinscotland · 25/02/2006 23:57

I never heard 'Sian' till I came here, but that's no biggie compared to DH's Irish relatives! . His ma's mam was Irish, and his ma's sister moved back when she was 16 and stayed and married a local and had 3 kids. And you should HEAR their names!

wonderwomanxx · 25/02/2006 23:58

no i said where were you in states!!! before you moved to scotland xxx

expatinscotland · 25/02/2006 23:58
