I think we should let the law decide if BK are a good agency or not. I personally would like something done as I was treated very bad. I was called names by them and accused to be rude. Then I was treatened by nasty e mails and all I asked was a list of the jobs my baby had been put forward for.
Then my baby was taken off the website and I was asked to pay an extra £30.00 to put her back. They told me I did not send updates but I had done and I can prove it as I send them by e mails.
Then I was told I did not send a new doctor letter and asked for more money to reinstate the website. All this went on for more than a year and not even one casting.
Now maybe my baby is really ugly and nobody want to book her but not even a casting, not even a chance to be told no in the face.
I believe that they got in a bit of trouble because are careless. In a year I asked to speak to my baby booker hundreds of times and she was never available. She only sent back 2 or three e mails with the same answer" we will let you know" and than one day the website is gone.
They have more kids that they can manage. This is the trouble so I paid them, as a lot of mums did to manage my kid career but they forgot why they are there for. They are there to represent the kids they take on if they cannot they should not take them on.

It is a letter stating that your child is fit and well.
Sometimes they charge you around £10 to £15

right, well i am off to IK tomorrow for photos, will get docs letter sorted later this weke and post it to them. will give them the passport pics and copy of birth cert. do the agency deal with gettibng the liscence or do i have to do it?

misdee and sh11 >> you need a letter from doctor, 2 passport photos and copy of birth certificate, if you can take with you it's best otherwise you'll have to post it later. They don't take credit cards so you have to pay cash or cheque for photos!

Is Serena feeling better?

dd isn't well, has a temperature, is looking weak, has cold hands and feet... she refused breakfast this morning and nursery said she refused lunch as well :( just had a few bites of her dinner now but she's just really weird... I hate this because there's not much I can do, and I get worried v quickly... my poor lo!

Izzi - Don't want to be a scare-monger here, but I saw something on BBC about meningitus (HOW do you spell that???!!!) and they said one of the very early warning symptoms is COLD HANDS AND FEET.

CAREFUL!!!!

izzy, dont fret about the cold hands and feet, apparently they would feel 'ice cold' to touch not just your run of mill cold. hope she better soon, havent you got a job tomorow

Izzyrubi - sorry to hear your dd is not well and has temperature. My dd is also not well, had high temp. and then got rash on cheek, found out it's slapped cheek Disease. Bit better today though. If I were you I'd phone up Docs tomorrow and make appointment if she still has high temp.

Cannot believe today's posts on her - scared to say anything now!

Thanks everyone for the the advice, I read up on meningitis and will keep an eye open but I think it's eiher just a cold or maybe teething, tbh I hope she's teething because she's 13 months and only has 4 teeth!!!!!!!
