how do you deal with the itchiness and red spottiness as it starts to grow back?

de-fuzzed on monday and am now squirmingly uncomfortable. used cream on main bit and razor on rest, hence name change as its a bit embaressing.

after continual balding
it just eventually stops
no more sonic the hedgehog then

QE2 · 23/02/2006 23:08

Lots and lots of moisturiser.

So I have heard.

PandaG · 23/02/2006 23:09

Find that having a bikini line wax the best option for regrowth. Can't stand the itchiness after cream or razor. Couldn't do a brazilian though, a tidy up hurts somewhat, but no itching afterwards

WestCountryLass · 23/02/2006 23:25

I would probably go for a flaps n crack wax next time

Mytwopenceworth · 23/02/2006 23:32

can i just ask, why would you do this to yourself? i mean, in the name of all that is hairy - sorry - holy, why cause yourslf this suffering?

ow, ouch ouch yow - just at the thought of it all.

lunarx · 24/02/2006 08:55

there is a cream you can buy at boots (or a chemists) you can use after shaving 'there'.

how i avoid it? i just trim. no complete shaving!

crazydazy · 24/02/2006 09:03

I just put up with itching.

Its worth it to have a nice little triangle.

Don't like a big bush.

lunarx · 24/02/2006 09:06

the only prob i have with complete shaving is, the real niceness of it only lasts like a day!
then it gets stubbly and rough again!

unless, you're brave and get waxed, then it lasts longer and the growing back isnt as bad!

NotActuallyAMum · 24/02/2006 09:10

Agree with doormat - after a few years there's no red spots and it has to grow back a fair bit before it itches

baldybeaver · 24/02/2006 09:11

mtpw - it was meant to be an erotic surprise for dh , red, spotty and stubbly was not really the look i was going for................however, on monday night...........it was fab

I love your new name ! Agree, don't shave it (eek) as it will grow back like this, just wax or cream (I found immac sensitive is good) and after a few goes, it doesn't itch at all!

I think big bushes are GROSS, it's much better to be neat and tidy

What a thing to think about at 9am........

lunarx · 24/02/2006 09:28

 at the 9am comment!!

veuveclicquot · 24/02/2006 09:49

I just shave every day. Couldn't cope with a beautician doing me every few weeks.

Especially as they are all gorgeous young 19 year old model types here in Bondi. Would rather die than proffer my 35 year old child birthed bits at such a specimen.
