Do you have colour coded ones for different things?

Bleach 'em. When they're ragged, use them as furniture cloths.

Do you have your bog standard green and white flecks or do you buy posh ones?

Plain white ones. I soak them in acdo

I buy the ones from Tesco. They last FOREVER.

acdo? what is this? why have i not heard of this product? i thought i had the entire cleaning product range under my sink already!

How long does it take before yours start to smell?

They don't. Every night after I do the washing up I soak it in a basin of hot sudsy water w/a few drops of bleach. Then, after two days of use, I dry it out before chucking it in the wash at 60 degrees.

Acdo is a powder that you can use for handwash garments. I also put them in with a wash. Both my mum's tips!

aaah that'd be why, the fairy in this house doesn't 'do' handwashing .

I tend to use mine for a couple of days, then use it to wipe down cupboard doors, kickboards and bin then bin it!

Feel you can only wash them so many times before they are useless
