I haven't done one but I have been to one. You can order themed kits off the internet that will walk you through it. They include invitation inserts regarding costumes. I think you can get them on eBay or just Google.

We did one with 6 people. It was flipping hilarious! We got a box set and did a round between courses. 20 people is more ambitious of course but the basic idea is the same. I'd do a trial with a smaller group first then you'd know what to do for more people.

Undying King Games supply good, properly tested games, I'd give them a look www.ukg.co.uk

I've hosted the box set ones, but they are for 8 people. I use murder a la carte, they come with a dvd to guide you through, scripts, menu ideas and costume ideas. All you need to do is cook a three course meal (keep it simple and don't do anything that needs precise timings - boeuf bourginoine (sp?) type stuff is good)

I love them too.
If it was anything like ours,be prepared for a long evening.
If you can ,you might want to start quite early in the evening.
