big mess up on ebay. can anyone help?

ive put dd's crib on ebay. BUT ive managed to put the wrong picture on. when buyer comes to pick it up, and see its different, they will be well within their rights to accuse me of misrepresentation. what should i do?

I did thsi once, though I realised about 10 minutes after origialy listing it....

if you dont have any bids you can just change your listing. if you do have bids then email the bidders to let them know and give them the option of cancelling their bid or of you cancelling it for them (not sure how that works)

Stitch, how did you manage to put the wrong photo on? Was it your own photo or did you use a stock photo?

popsycalindisguise, same thing happened to me last week. I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt and my buyer paid up no problems. A lot of Ebayers would suggest that you cancel the bid but I really don't see the point (cutting off nose to spite face syndrome).

well, i couldnt find the wire that connects the computer to the camera. and with the amount of time stuff has been moved and disconnected, and reconnected etc etc in my house ovr the last few months, well.... i thought id just be lazy and use the mothercare picture..
but of course mothercare have changed their design slightly since i bought it, and it didnt twig till just now.
