Where do I find soda crystals for GLOOP?

It is soda crysals, isn't it?

The Tescos man looked at me very blanky when I asked for them and then led me to the cooking section.

I thought gloop was cornflour - well, my gloop is cornflour and water but maybe mine's different. You can get soda crystals from Boots - where they do the laundry powder etc.

Thanx etm. This sort of gloop is for making your own washing powder. (yes, things are a bit tight this month as it happens...)

Get mine at tescos. They are with all the cleaning stuff but not in all branches. About 56p I think.

Well I got them, along with laundry soap, in the Co-op. Still suprised I coudln't get them in big Tescos, but hey.

Am off to start grating up soap now...

Hi pruni-well, its bubbling away as we speak so will see! Had a bit of a false start-bought household soap + found it was green . hmm.

Anyway, once cooled I shall put chuck it in at the deep end...dd's nappies!
