£ 5000???

basing that on whole house and you being down south!

LIZS · 18/02/2006 20:52

We paid about £1000 to have 3 rooms (large lounge, 2 bedrooms) stripped of wallpaper, walls made good and repainted. tbh painting isn't particularly time consuming or costly, that is in the preparation and tidying.

softmusk · 18/02/2006 21:01

how do they normally work do they buy all the paint and stuff

Ours did supply, primarily because it was more convenient as we weren't around to offer but you could probably do either. One room was a shade of pink we picked off a colour chart, the others magnolia. They get a trade price and will have a colour mixed if needs be.

alexsmum · 18/02/2006 21:09

ours supplied paint and we bought the paper.

softmusk · 18/02/2006 21:11

If it is a brand new house then walls will be soudn and painted neutral anyway, so the cost is less.

Mazzystar · 18/02/2006 21:13

we paid @ £2500 for whole house, including stripping ceilings of nasty blown vinyl and some papering, and all woodwork etc. included materials. think it was a bargain tbh

softmusk · 18/02/2006 21:19
