I can remember how many has been done before, what I'm really intersted in is where are they? do you have a study? is your computer in your bedroom? sitting room? do you have a playroom? is the computer in there? do you use it for your work? mn and ebay? mainly the kids? what would be your ideal arrangement?

ooh - ours was in our bedroom but we just moved it downstairs into the dining room and it's fab!!! I can get on it much more often while still pretending to look after the kids (like now..!) rather than having them trashing our bedroom!

Also as ds1 is getting older he's starting to use it so it's better (I think) that it's downstairs so we'll be able to keep an eye on what he's doing!

1 in the living room
which is for everything- me for Uni, DH for small business, plus any 'fun' stuff.

Hoping to get a lap top soon for my Uni stuff.

Dh has a 'specialist' one that lives in the shed- it comes out in Sugust and powers the carnival float lights ofr 12 weeks, gets serviced then goes back into shed. If it were nicked Dh could build again on a different chassis, it's on a Lap Top from the 80's, an Amstrad, weighs about 2 stone
