I liked it too, but be warned the brakes are a pain. But it was great for getting around on public transport etc.

I nearly got one but was concerned that it didn't have a lie back position, has anyone found this to be a problem.

I think that the co-op by me had some in the sale a few months back, old colours. If they did I'm sure that they'll be in the sale again in January.

Also have it - love it. Easy to maneuver and durable. Big complaints are about the size of the basket - and accessibility to it - it is underneath the seat - just impractical to use. But as dinosaur mentions, if you hang something from the handles, it has a tendency to tip over. Another mild complaint is that the hood (for sun protection) doesn't really adequately cover the child. It just sits above the head, as most do, and so at certain angles, your child will have no sun protection at all. This was a bit annoying.

I think the new model lies back quite a bit more than the old one (which I have), which is quite a bit steeper. I would like the new model too!

I to have the maclaren techno - from kiddicare - and it's the best pushchair i've had so far (had a few u see)

yeh the pushchair will tip if u hang to much from the handles

but what do u except from a light weight buggy - it's not designed to hang heavy shopping

and if u want a big basket then u need to go for a bigger buggy/pram

I personely recomend this buggy - and don't think you'll regreat your purchase

I have a techno and it is good but a couple of things I don't like about it

  1. It isn't easy to put down if you are wearing sandals as you have to stamp down and then kick up on a bar and it hurts your foot! I always bend down if I'm wearing sandals

  2. I can't work the brake without a lot of kicking and puffing. Don't bother 99 percent of the time because of this.

It's easy to solve the tipping over prob, I had a couple of old strap on wrist/ankle weights which I attached to the bar underneath and it weighs it down really well, I can fit loads of shopping on it now.

I believe that the brakes on the new models have been improved - good!
Otherwise a great buggy. So easy to maouvre between racks in shops using only one hand!
