I don't mind moving. Just cannot wait to get out of this minute rnted house, get all my stuff out of storage and have a room that I can hide in

we did the first move in septmeber, out of the cuntry and in to the city. now we are moving down the road to a decent sized hosue

How long has it all taken?We have just accepted an offer and had one accepted and everyone is in a big rush as there is no chain before us and the place we are buying is empty.

Have you looked at removals yet?We have always done it ourselves but have decided to get help this time We are only moving a few streets away too.Have you packed anything yet?

We moved on Monday. Would definately recommend getting movers; we got them to pack too and it was worth every penny. Almost entirely stress free.

How much is a removal company approx.We have a 3 bed house but not taking any big wardrobes or anything and our buyers have bought the range cooker and piano so not really any huge bits to move There are stairs though

Noddyholder, you should ask a few removal companies to quote for moving the contents - stairs don't come into it TBH - it's based on the amount of contents/number of loads/distance to property. You also pay extra if you want them to pack for you... often an unnecessary expense IMO

My hair was falling out with the stress of our exchange (and can I just add here that the fuckers still haven;t moved it to our old house!!)

We were charged an extra £200 on top of removal costs for packing. For this, they packed everything, dismantled furniture and put it together again at other end, plumbed in washing machine etc. Really was worth every penny.
