Just want some sympathy as I'm feeling incredibly p'd off. The prat swerved into my lane and walloped the side of my car when I was on the way home from work (at about 1am) luckily a police car came past and dealt with it all, as he kept insisting he wanted to give me cash and bypass the insurance companies (hmm wonder why>)

I'm still trying warm up from being stuck on my own in the car waiting for the rescue people (lone woman priority my arse)

I've now been up 21 hrs and I'm tired (calming down and having a hot chocolate before bed, although kids will be up a few hours so is it worth it?)

It's DS1's 8th birthday today and we were going to go out for the day, well that's bolloxed.

I only picked the car up from the garage yesterday after forking out £450 on new brakes for the MOT

AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggghhhhhhhh

Thank you, feel better now

The car's been written off (only had it 5 months) and I hate buying cars really really hate it.

But I'm just stressed out tbh, been on the phone pretty much all day trying to sort things out. As the car's a goner, the garage will want its courtesy car back but I have to have a car for work. Other insurance company will pay out for a hire car until I get the car money, but it's trying to coordinate school run, with dropping off one car at the garage so I can strip the defunct car (brand new stereo, tax disc etc) and being met by the new hire car, plus searching for a new car and entertaining DD all at the same time! . And to add to the fun the first hire company wanted a refundable deposit of £100 against fines etc which I don't have, thus a million more phone calls to try and sort that out. Oh, and a complete freaky as someone told me that the other persons insurance would have been invalidated by the whole drinking thing, so it would come off of mine (not true in my case, but can be in others )

It's just not fair, it wasn't my fault. Stupid drunk man.

And in january my GP diagnosed me as having depression, which was manifesting as a total inability to deal with stressful situations without large amounts of shouting and crying. I'm looking at this as a case of kill or cure atm

I bet you wished you never asked now MI Nice to get it off my chest though.
