A large ironing pile

Hattie05 · 16/02/2006 00:45

oh thats not nice is it?

I don't have an ironing pile, as i did masses about five days ago, and since then have refused to put any washing on because didn't want to create a new ironing pile .

Is there any sense in that at all?

About 100 students frantically trying to finish coursework. Nah, I'm kidding, most of them are surfing the net, trying to copy someone else's, listening to music, gossiping and flirting. Ah the youth of today.

melrose · 16/02/2006 14:03

I don't have an ironing pile cos I don't do ironing!

A Wall with a map of the UK on

An oak cabinet in the dining room and then the kitchen as I'm at my work desk. If I was on home PC, would be a pair of weighing scales and a chest of drawers in the bedroom.

LadyTophamHatt · 16/02/2006 14:05

the kitchen....

Greensleeves · 16/02/2006 14:21

A 3' by 4' gilt-framed mirror.

suzywong · 16/02/2006 14:24

the sofa
I sit on the floor on a blanket, I don't hold with furniture.

but I've got a glass of wine beside me

mumfor1standfinaltime · 16/02/2006 14:29

A window! I am sitting on the sofa, on laptop with my feet up on a table sipping tea and eating 'cow' biscuits with ds playing on the floor!

Greensleeves · 16/02/2006 14:37

I don't hold with furniture either. I sit on it though

MerlinsBeard · 16/02/2006 14:38

door to the hall then the stairs with an indoor rabbit inbetween

Hulababy · 16/02/2006 14:39

The rest of the living area. Directly behind me is a wall. To the side the dining table, completely covered in scrapbooking stuff. To the other side the sofa.

madmarchhare · 16/02/2006 14:41

A wall with loads of cut outs from music magazines that make one lovely music mosaicy type thing and a chair with my cat on it.

Flossam · 16/02/2006 14:42

The kitchen - with a banana loaf on the side, fresh out of the oven smelling LOVELY. Am waiting for it to cool and have a slice. Mmmm!

rey · 16/02/2006 14:55

a radiator and a window with my Supermarket daffs beginning to open up.

Flossam hope you've gone to do some housework now (re your email about telling you to get off mn!)

Picnickel that's not fair, I'm starving myself today and you've just got my tastebuds tingling!

A strange looking man in a black robe with a scythe...

EEP!

lou33 · 16/02/2006 15:38

A wardrobe, a mini safe, and a pile of clothes to be put away

nutcracker · 16/02/2006 15:44

Tv, kids and thats about it.

Issymum · 16/02/2006 15:47

A huge plate glass window with a very busy branch of Starbucks. All life is there - job interviews, lovers meeting over coffee, departmental meetings, models displaying their portfolio books to potential bookers, exhausted shoppers, bewildered tourists, my colleagues nipping in for a double decaff skinny latte....

It's like reality TV without the sound and those annoying celebs.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 16/02/2006 15:50

What's behind me?? Gosh where do I start.

Big 'office' fan. Bookshelf crammed packed with music, hymn books, and assorted fiction reading. On the floor we have the complete works of Dickens (Readers Digest set). And all our 'home' videos. DH's 'work' filing cabinet, speakers, rubish bag, picture frames, map of the world.

Hattie05 · 16/02/2006 15:51

Are you at work watching that issymum?

I'd be distracted by people watching all day if i were there
