Photo Resizing-Anyone know a good free one?

I always have trouble sending photos in an email-clogging up everyone's inboxes because the pics are too big-can anyone tell me the best way to resize them?

Hiya, I use GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program). It's free from gimp dot org and there are plenty of online tutorials if you want to do fancy things with it, but for simple cropping / resizing it's pretty straightforward. I've used it on my trusty ibook, linux boxes and the odd windoze machine.
