God no! HATED being pregnant all three times! Couldn't bear all that throwing up and all that waddling! Very jealous that you enjoyed it all so much - lucky you

Dottydot · 14/02/2006 13:17

Good grief no!!!! I really really really wanted to be pregnant, but when I finally got pregnant I hated it! Particularly hated my huge heavy bump - couldn't believe the weight of it..! Was sooooooo glad when ds finally arrived - 10 days late!

LadyTophamHatt · 14/02/2006 13:18

yes, i did.

ds3 is 2.4 yrs now and i still miss being pg.

motherinferior · 14/02/2006 13:36

Christalmighty, NO. I loathed being pregnant. Every moment of it.

CountessDracula · 14/02/2006 13:38

yes I adored my bump

Kelly1978 · 14/02/2006 13:38

Nooooo. That bump made me sick, bedbound and collapsed my lung twice. I was so glad to see the back of it! I did miss feeling babies kicking for the first few weeks, but that was about it.

LoveMyGirls · 14/02/2006 15:19

i miss my flat belly! havent seen that since i was 16 probably wont be seeing it again.

kittyfish · 14/02/2006 15:28

I am so with you on that one LMG.

sweetkitty · 14/02/2006 15:35

Sometimes DD2 only 20 days old. Miss feeling special and loved feeling her kick DO NOT miss the SPD pain, peeing constantly, BHs, heartburn, not being able to get comfy sleeping ever etc

MarsOnLife · 14/02/2006 15:41

no don't miss it. Still got it

Greensleeves · 14/02/2006 15:49

Christ no. What a question. I miss the vomiting though. And the swollen ankles.

LovelyBigMuvverers · 14/02/2006 15:51

You have not ML!

Don't miss mine

MarsOnLife · 14/02/2006 15:52

LovelyBigMuvverers · 14/02/2006 15:54

Nooo, lbm is a quote

MerlinsBeard · 14/02/2006 15:54

i miss the belly but not the aching/sickness/being huge part of pregnancy.

I miss my stomach muscles too had lovely ones til DS1, think they are lost forever under the title of "things to do in spare time"

Pixel · 14/02/2006 18:26

I missed my bump. Ds was a very wriggly baby and would stick his little feet out everywhere. It felt strange not having him in there any more.

waterfalls · 14/02/2006 18:28

Do I miss my bump????? How can I when I still have it 2 years on

I miss my flat belly though.

tinkerbellchelle · 14/02/2006 18:29

Nope dont miss it one bit this time last year I was admitted to hospital with hyper esemis ( sp ) and had to be on a drip. DS is now 7 months old

Highlander · 14/02/2006 18:31

yuk, no. It was soooooooo bloody uncomfortable.

Mind you, he was less trouble in there

expatinscotland · 14/02/2006 18:32

NO! I truly don't. I have lots of metal in my right knee - pins, screws, and bone staples. Any excess weight makes it hurt like a mo' fo'.

I also like to walk just about anywhere - I hate public transport. Being huge and pregnant and swollen, however, I couldn't walk the distances and pace I normally do.

I like wearing lots of different clothes, not just the same maternity garb over and over.

I like rolling around in my bed, sleeping on my front, giving myself a pedicure.

Don't miss that massive bump at all.

I do too & DS is nearly 2!

I loved being pregnant. Apart from the first 8 weeks of feeling yakky, but you don;t have a bump then anyway.

CarolinaMoon · 14/02/2006 18:59

Are you entirely bonkers? Always baffles me that people like being pg for its own sake.

otoh, it would have the advantage of filling my crinkly mummy tummy which is lying here all folorn atm.

fisil · 14/02/2006 19:03

No no no.

hated being pg so much that have adopted the only 100% effective contraception ever since!

Ellbell · 14/02/2006 20:11

Interestingly varied responses on this thread... there are those of us who know where you're coming from, papaya, and those who just don't get it at all!

As for me, yes, I miss mine... still... my 'baby' is about to be 4! I keep waiting to get over it, but it hasn't happened yet!
