my poor little boy has got *shingles*

Took him to see the doc today after I saw the rash last night. went to see the doc and the poor wee lamb has got shingles! He has been so brave, bless him.

DD had a fit on Sunday morning and i spent the day and night with her in hospital. Ds was with friends, and at that time was coming down with shingles

and dh is in america

oh dear mb, you really are knee-deep in it right now, aren't you.
I didn't even know children could get shingles - so sorry, it sounds very nasty.

OMG mb - you are really going through it - you poor thing. What a nightmare for you all, and such poor timing, iyswim, with dh being away.

MB, I had Shingles when I was about 8 or so - I remember distinctly not being allowed to go swimming with the school, and being very upset about it. Other than that I had no ill effects IIRC, although I suppose each individual may react differently.

What a shed load to be coping with on your own - hope you're through it soon.

awwww your poor kids... and poor you... is he in a lot of pain? and how is daughter now?

dd is fine, a bit itchy but ok. Ds has quite a nasty dose and is limping with the pin belss him

Oh MB thats awful! Poor thing. How are you feeling now? Are you still feeling sick? Did the Dr give you anything? Rubbish timing. Hope DS gets over it quickly.
