HELP ...book quote challenge....can anyone help us?

Ds2 school has issued a book quote challenge for book week and we are really stumped [thick emotion]

We get 1 point for the name of the book
1 point for the author
and 3 points if we can name the character who said the words.

Here's a small selection of them...any answers gratefully received
2; "I don't want to die. I want to stay alive, right here in my comfortable manure pile with all my friends"
7; "practically perfect in every way!"
10; "Oh no I can't stand THIS"
32; "little bull, if you shoot, I'll pick you up and squeeze you"
26; "He didn't want to make Miss Bonn cry. He likes her you see. And he isn't speaking very well just now cause he's upset. He didn't mean to take the money. It was only because it was there in front of him. And I hid it in the loft so i could put it back when things went quiet"

28 is Stig of the Dump - boy I think is called Tom? Can check at home.
24 - Can't You Sleep Little Bear?
25 is probably Roald Dahl - Witches, maybe?

Thank you all very much for all the answers. I have only a few quotes left, but they are quite long and I am soo slow and i have to go out now.

When ds2 bought this home last night I just knew where to go for some help
