Any advice gratefully received! We're off for a sunny family holiday to Oz after Christmas and my kids have grown out of their sandals. Any ideas on where you can buy sandals at this time of year for dd (8) and ds (6)? Just want strappy/sporty style. I know we could get them out ther but don't really want to sepcd first day of holiday shopping...
I live in Camberwell - SE London - and can get up to central London easily, but I'm stumped as to where to start. Tried John Lewis yesterday with no joy. The only other option I have considered is Birkenstock, but my ds hate them (altho' dd would probably be OK). Any sites anyone has used?

Pat - have you tried the sports stores? eg: JD sports? Brixton town centre has a few of these kinds of stores. You could do a quick blitz around them? Or maybe the really big store down at Surrey Quays? Sorry - probably not much help. I always buy ours on arrival in Queensland - much cheaper there!

Thanks Jan
I followed up your Surrey Quays tip (I think you meant Decathlon). I rag them up, but they only do pool shoes
I've also had my eye out in JD Sports but nothing there either.
I'm sure you're right and it will be cheaper in Oz, but was hoping to have them before.

Funny you should say that, coddy - I did find this , Pat - don't know if they have them in stock now but worth a try? Looks like black or black but they have jellies too?

Thanks Jaybee - I did try Next yesterday and thought I had found the perfect pair for ds (the ones in your link), but of course there were none in stock
And thankyou Janh for the site you suggested - I will have a look now!
