Milk and no sugar for me. Mmmm the cakes smell lovely. I'll have one with pink icing please.

CnR · 29/11/2003 14:37

Oh, sounds good, especially the fairycakes.

Actually on second glass of wine. Dh's friends (and mine too) are here drinking beer and talking about cars. DD and her little friend are playing in the bedroom and making a mess, so having some time out.

How are you?

fairydust · 29/11/2003 14:40

I'm good - having a relaxin afternoon-

went to the new next n ikea this morning and believe it or not it was actually dead.

That was brave - I'd imagine all of the shops to be heaving at this time of the year, especially as it is raining here. Well done for finding a quiet time.

Anyone get any plans for the weekend?

I am off out toinight. My parents are babysitting. I even treated myself to a new outfit (can wear it to Christmas party too) so feel quite good.

kayleigh · 29/11/2003 14:43

Ikea - dead ? Are you sure you weren't dreaming !

I am just going to have this cup of tea with you and then I am escaping for a couple of hours and dh can look after my two very exuberant boys.

Am excited as off to see Grommits new baby ! Just love that new born baby smell. Nearly as good as your fairy cakes fairydust

kayleigh - DD will have to bunk in with us when we get in as our friends will be sleeping in theirr room. Luckily she sleeps well with us, longer than when on her own. And my parents are bound to keep her up later than her proper bedtime too. So, fingers croseed, she will sleep in a bit.

Forestfly · 29/11/2003 15:03
