OK am I the only one who thinks it wasn't a wise idea to get Cherie and Laura Bush sitting together at the openning ceremony ?

I missed it - was it as bad as normal opening ceremonies?

It's not finished.... the initial had a couple of good things now it's athlete parade - boring.

yes and I like the baroque stuff too.
The dove was impressive.

Also had not seen C & L together. Not prepared to comment until I know who planned seating! I have been involved with enough seating plans to know that the participants in an event are not all necessarily happy with their neighbours!

They seemed chummy enough...
